Catherine is well known in the Barrie, Wasaga, Owen Sound area for her expertise in training children and adults alike, her choral conducting, and performing as a soprano soloist. Following a brief break from private teaching she returns to the studio where she spent the first 28 years of her music career.

She is The Director of Music at Central United church in Barrie, and was The Founder/Director of The Barrie Regional Youth Choir, Mosaic Community Choir, and The Wasaga Beach Community Children’s Choir. Her students have placed well in Kiwanis Festivals at both the local and provincial levels, on royal Conservatory exams, in recital, on recordings, and at music schools across the country.

She is now a teacher with the Bluewater Board of Education, specializing in the Junior/Intermediate grades in music, of course!
