Art is Education – a discussion

Concerned about the current state of arts learning in Barrie schools?

Wonder why we are one of the only cities of our size without a school of the arts?

Still wondering whether Georgian’s School of Design and Visual Arts will move downtown?

Want to influence the school boards to include arts learning as one of the priorities for delivering a high quality education?

Think it’s time we collectively make arts education an election issue?

The Barrie Arts Council invites you to an open roundtable discussion on Education and Art in Barrie. 8 April 2010, 7.30 pm, The Creative Space, 89 Dunlop St E.

There are many conversations about arts education taking place in Barrie but few voices are being heard. Let’s change that together.
